Wrong page visible when turning to previous chapter - iOS

Hi all,
I have some troubles with an iOS Monocle integration.
Everything works fine except when I turn pages backwards and there is a chapter change.
When that happens, for a microsecond, I see the page that is supposed to be 2 pages forward.
Please look at the attached schematic to see exactly what I mean.

Does anybody know how to resolve this issue ?

PS: The book contains text and images, mixed.
