Total no. of pages in book irrespective of chapterwise

I need to get the total no. of pages that contains in the book irrespective of the chapterwise.

can anyone pls guide me...

Since Monocle works by fetching individual components on demand (essentially, streaming the book), and since it works across a vast range of screen sizes and can be dynamically resized while reading — this is not really feasible.

An alternate-universe Monocle that fetched and rendered all components on start-up and re-rendered them on each resize/re-orientation would be capable of doing this. But the speed and resource implications on many systems (especially mobile) would be dramatic.
