The big day is finally here. MongoDB for developers class starts today at http://education.10gen.com. We have uploaded the first week of lectures. Homework assignment for the first week will be posted within days. The first homework assignment will be due on Monday, October 29, at 11pm EDT. You can watch the lecture videos whenever you like. We can’t wait to get started. There are over 6,000 students in the class. If you know others who want to signup, it’s not too late. There are discussion forums built right into the class if you have questions. You will need access to a Mac or PC or Linux system for your work in the course. We plan to have professionally transcribed English captions on the videos but captions won’t be available until a later on this week. Until then you will see machine-generated English captions if you turn on closed captioning. As a reminder, you will receive a certificate of completion from 10gen provided you achieve 65% on the graded assessments.
