MongoDB v/s Key Value Data Stores (aerospike)

a. Does MongoDB scale as good as aerospike when size of the dataset goes beyond 1 TB?
b. To achieve same/similar performance (TPS) does MongoDB need more nodes per cluster when size of dataset is 1 TB
c. To achieve same/similar performance (TPS) what is the approx. RAM needed for MongoDB installation (size of dataset is 1 TB)

MongoDB is not a key-value store so direct comparison is not really appropriate.

However, since this group is for developers of MongoDB, this question is better discussed on MongoDB-user group.
