MongoDB Ruby driver 2.1.0.rc0 and Mongoid 5.0.0.rc0 are released

MongoDB Ruby driver version 2.1.0.rc0 has been released.
Mongoid 5.0.0.rc0, which uses the official MongoDB Ruby driver, has also been released. Starting with this version (5.0.0), Mongoid is officially supported by MongoDB Inc. with a dedicated team.

The Ruby driver 2.1.0.rc0 release contains a number of changes and bug fixes. Please see the release notes here for more details:

This release candidate of the Ruby driver can be installed explicitly from RubyGems:

gem install mongo --pre

Or it will be installed with the 5.0.0.rc0 release of Mongoid:

gem install mongoid --pre

Please give the gems a test in your staging environments.
