The JVM team is happy to announce that version 1.0.0-rc0 of the MongoDB RxJava Driver.
The MongoDB RxJava Driver[1] provides composable asynchronous and event-based observable sequences for MongoDB.
Built on top of the new MongoDB Async Java Driver (3.0.0) it provides support for ReactiveX (Reactive Extensions) by using the RxJava library[2]. All database calls return an Observable allowing for efficient execution, concise code, and functional composition of results.
As this is a release candidate it is not recommended for production use. However, we would greatly appreciate feedback from the user community.
As always, please let us know if you have any problems by opening an issue at
https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/JAVARX.
