Version 3.0 of the MongoDB Python driver has been released.
3.0 is a partial rewrite of the python driver with a large number of improvements including a unified client API, a new CRUD API, a rewritten pure python BSON library, and much, much more. See the changelog for a detailed list of changes.
Unlike the previous release candidates, 3.0 is available on pypi for easy installation using easy_install or pip.
