The JVM team is pleased to announce the release of Morphia 1.3.0. This release contains a number of bug fixes and enhancements and introduces a dependency on 3.4.0 of the Java driver. The full release notes can be found here. Full documentation and API pages can be found here.

This release deprecates a fair number of older methods. As Morphia has expanded to better cover the driver and server features, the API has grown as well and not necessarily consistently. One focus of this release is to begin to rectify this by introducing new future proof methods and deprecating the old ones. Depending on your usage, this might result in a number of warnings when building but new methods should make your code much more consistent and readable.

As always if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask on the mailing list.
