Legacy C++ Driver legacy-1.0.3-rc0 released

The C++ Driver Team is excited to announce the availability of the legacy-1.0.3-rc0 release of the Legacy C++ Driver.

This is the first release candidate for the next stable version of the legacy driver, legacy-1.0.3, and is not intended for production use. We encourage you to test this driver in your development or testing environment, and we greatly appreciate any feedback and bug reports as we prepare for the legacy-1.0.3 release.

Please note that several SSL related changes were backported from the server in this release candidate: if you make extensive use of SSL with the legacy driver, we strongly recommend that you test with this release candidate.

You can obtain the driver source from GitHub, either under the legacy-1.0.3-rc0 tag or from the releases page. The legacy C++ driver is a source level distribution and does not offer a stable ABI across releases.

Please feel free to post any questions to the mongodb-user mailing list. Bug reports should be filed against the CXX project in the MongoDB JIRA.
