Are there any parameters I can pass to make to not process the testing steps and/or build something closer to what you'd get with the official release?

I'm getting a >2,000 line pagespeed.conf currently, when the one from an RPM install is only 367 lines. Most of these lines aren't applicable to my situation and are causing apache to fail.

Thanks.

I'm not sure that I understood you correctly, but if you're just looking for the most recent config example (not the one used for our system tests), then it's located in install/common/pagespeed.conf.template, not install/debug.conf.template.

Hi Egor,
Sorry for being unclear. I went through https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/module/build_mod_pagespeed_from_source and after I do the make install, the pagespeed.conf I get out seems to be a concatenation of both config files you listed.
I'm not sure why that's happening and I'm wondering if there's a flag I can pass to disable the debug stuff, including the generation of the /mod_pagespeed_example and /mod_pagespeed_test directories/code.

Thanks!

Hi Christopher,

How are you installing? (building rpm/deb via the instructions there, using install_apx, etc.)
Can you share the sequence of commands you're running to build and install the .so.

Thanks,
Jeff
