Versions 1.1.1 of Sync Gateway, and Couchbase Lite for iOS and .NET*, are
available for download.
Please click the ‘Show all platforms’ link to see the full list of downloads, particularly for Couchbase Lite. The web page still says “1.1”, but the filenames say “1.1.1”. The page defaults to showing only the version that matches
the OS your browser is running on, but that’s usually not the same as the OS you’re building for; so if you’re on a Mac it defaults to the Mac OS version of Couchbase Lite, which will result in mysterious errors if you try to link it into an iOS target. (This
will be fixed imminently.)
The full release notes can be found here:
- Sync Gateway — Support for responding to changes in Couchbase Server cluster topology at runtime. Other
bug fixes.
- Couchbase Lite
- iOS — Critical fix for attachment encryption issue. iOS 9 SSL compatibility. Better support for P2P
replication. Bug fixes & performance improvements.
- .NET — Listener stability fixes. Other bug fixes, especially for replication and view queries.
It’s also worth noting that,
if you’re running Couchbase Server on OS X for use in development, and you upgrade to OS X 10.11 “El Capitan”, you’ll need to upgrade to the latest patched 4.0 release, listed as “Mac OS X El Capitan”
on the
downloads page. The main 4.0 release, and all previous versions, won’t run, due to permissions issues from El Capitan’s System Integrity Protection.
On behalf of the whole team, thanks for using Couchbase Mobile!
