Hello to all
Mobicents Media server 3.0.0.CR2 has been released
It can be downloaded by following link :
http://code.google.com/p/mediaserver/downloads/list

Description:

This mms-standalone-3.0.0.CR2 binary is standalone Mobicents Media Server    
This MMS binary is having
    * Standalone Mobicents Media Server
    * Admin and Configuration guide
    * JSR-309 and MGCP Drivers
                                                      

Mobicents Media Server is open source media server aimed to:

-Deliver competitive, complete, best-of-breed media gateway functionality featuring highest quality.
-Meet the demands of converged wireless, wireline, cable broadband access and fixed-mobile converged VoIP
 networks from a single media gateway platform
-Increase flexibility with a media gateway that supports wide variety of call control protocols and scales down
 to meet the demands of enterprises and small carrier providers.
-React quickly to dynamic market requirements.

To install media server
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Start the media server from bin directory with ./run.bat run or ./run.sh command.



Highlights of 3.0.0.CR2
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Improved concurrency
2. Obtained 500 rtp connections / core goal ( for 711 / PCM codecs ) per cpu core!
3. Improved mgcp client
4. Implemented separate OOB path
5. Added mgcp sl package to all oob signal generation

Please note that configuration file has been changed , so you will have to update your configuration file to work with this release
Please note that this is pre final release.The only changes that expected for FINAL release is docs. Another issue with EC2 freeze requires 2 weeks for confirmation
that issues has been gone. So final release is expected in 2 weeks from now.

The media server has come so far along. With the availability of a test framework and a far more stable code base than ever, it would be great to see more contributions from the community. 

For example future bug reports should be the form of unit tests that save app debugging time and can be added to the continuous integration scripts.
