here what i am getting as output

go@ubuntu:/usr/local/bin/mistserver$ sudo chmod a+x MistController
go@ubuntu:/usr/local/bin/mistserver$ MistController -a username:password -n
MistController: command not found
go@ubuntu:/usr/local/bin/mistserver$ MistController -a go:go1 -n
MistController: command not found
go@ubuntu:/usr/local/bin/mistserver$

Hello,

MistServer should be installed in /usr/local/bin/ or /usr/bin/, but you installed it into /usr/local/bin/mistserver/ instead. That's the problem. Simply move the files over with the following command:
mv /usr/local/bin/mistserver/Mist* /usr/local/bin/

You might also be interested in the official full MistServer guide and documentation, which can be found here: http://mistserver.org/guides/MistServer_Manual_2.4.pdf
It's for the previous version (2.4, while 2.5 is the latest) but is still mostly correct for the latest version as well.
