By now, it is clear the identity of the whistle-blower (WB) is not needed.
WB said in his complaint that multiple persons who listened in on the call
- as part of their intended jobs, not "eavesdropping" - told him that Trump
made an illegal /quid pro quo/ offer to Zelensky. The right-wingnuts
shriek and howl that it's "hearsay," but it isn't - it would only be
hearsay if WB said that Trump made such an offer, based on what he heard
other say.
The ICIG wrote in his report that he interviewed many of the people who
spoke to WB about the call, and that they confirmed that what WB claimed
they said is what they in fact said to WB.
Now we've had a parade of witnesses before the committee, and *they* have
all confirmed what WB said the people who listened to the call told him.
It no longer matters who WB is - known people have confirmed every element
of his complaint.
