Via the web, I was motivated by 'free things' to view an ad for Septic
Savior.
I clicked on the ad and the next day a rep called me.

His name was William. He gave me his presentation on how great the
product is etc. It was long winded.
In the end - he explained I would get a one month free trial and cost
if I wanted to buy it and could do 4 monthly payment or buy all now
and save 40%.
I asked point blank ' are you asking me to pay for this?" His reply -
No not at all. This is at no COST OR OBLIGATION TO YOU.
So I agreed.

Moments later - a call from shipping to verify my address. He too
advises that I can buy 4mos supply and save 40%, I decline and
specifically ask him too - is this costing me anything? He advises
no, not unless I want to buy it. That there will be a coupon with the
trial product and I can send it in if I want it. He asks me for a
cc# to save money. I ask why - he advises to save 40% and I tell him
I'm not buying it. Rather try it first and see. I also even asked if
this was a negative billing setup and was told no.

Well... I NEVER got the trial product but I did get their bill for
$261.29!!!!!

I called them today 800-761-2027 and was advised to call back at
extenstion 225.
She played the taped conversation and it plays just as I stated above
yet she claims that in the tape I agree to a four month supply??? She
must be on drugs!

What kind of company treats people like this? At no time did anyone
ever ask if I like the product nor did they care when I said I never
received the product. All they care about is their fraudulent claim
that I 'agreed to buy in for 4months'.
I got mad and said I would plaster this all over the news and her only
response was 'that's fine' ?????

So here it is! Permission granted from Septic Savior to plaster this
all over the news!

you could have gone to farm and fleet and bought a bacterial charge for
your septic for around eight bucks.. I doubt that they were selling
anything better than that. Next time don't take a sales pitch, just tell
them to F off and hang up on them..We are on a no call list, I get their
info, and call in to get them fined if they call here.

Hi I also just got a call Today what an ASSociate I asked for a
return phone number and the salesman would not give me one... but my
caller ID picked up 717-980-5525
Then he told me that his product had the most live bacteria. after 7
Seven minuted the total price was $206 and I could save another $25 by
using a credit card or Debit Card This seem like a Fraud or Scam
tactic.

Anyone know that a Credit card cost more to use so they want your

I refuted his claim told him that Mega-BIO MEGABIO Mega Bio had 1000

more bacteria

How is the plan going to work? If it's going to be a refund for insurance
purchased during the tax year (proof required), low income people aren't
going to have the money to buy the insurance in the first place. If it's
to pay for insurance for the filing year, how will the government be sure
the money is spent on insurance?

first you need to gain the understanding of how the yankee
government is not in the business nor have they ever been
in the business of helping you or any other of the average
status class of Tax Paying Modules. the yankee government
is in the business of helping the elite privileged class.

once you gain this understanding and then come to grips with
it you'll know better about where your needs are going to be
met and by whom.

yes reality is sometimes painful and as such most people
reject the truths contained within.

as some of the foreigners have recently stated how yankee
government election campaigns can be most entertaining,
I agree. however, the sad part is how the slow economically
challenged persons actually believe there is a difference
between the candidates. there'd be more truth in the whole
thing if people would vote based on who they'd like to see
living in the big house, have all the good food, the good toys,
get to do mostly as they please and get to ride on the big
airplane while they tour and site see the world.

Actually, Lee I haven't looked into it. One of
the reasons I took the job I have is that it has
excellent health care benefits. I hate it, but
it's secure, has excellent all-around benefits,
reasonable pay, and I'll be able to retire when
I'm 52. I won't be done working, but I'll be done
working that job. My BC/BS plan costs me and my
employer a combined premium amount of a bit over
$17,000 per year, plus deductibles and copays.
I'm damn glad we've got the coverage, too as my
wife was recently diagnosed with uterine cancer.

straight line waiting to be used!)

i'm sure that one needs to itemize in order to get the
"rebate", & if i can't get insurance, i don't get any help
paying for medical expenses (kinda like now anyway for me, but
making it way worse for anyone already insured)

you might want to look at it. it's on his website, & there's a
comparison of the plans here:
http://www.epi.org/content.cfm/pm126

especially if your wife has cancer, it's important to consider
what deregulation of the health insurance industry will do. it
makes it that much easier to deny coverage for "pre-existing"
conditions.
while my cancer has been removed & is technically gone, i'm
never going to get health coverage now. i'm too much of a
risk. you may find yourselves in the same boat :(

not a problem. i find Palin to be a walking straight line :)
but i'm equal opportunity when it comes to the 2 big parties

ok, talking to myself...
a friend of mine has 4 kids. they are on family insurance
through her husband's employer.
here is what she says:

> I just checked the HR website for my husband’s employer. Our
family’s health insurance cost around $13,000 per year and his
company pays about $10,000 of that. Under McCain’s plan, we’d
be taxed on $10,000 worth of “income” that we never see. I
don’t know what it would cost us to buy insurance on the open
market but I’m betting it’s more than the $13,000 group plan.
Receiving $5,000 from McCain’s plan and adding the $3,000 that
we currently pay ourselves wouldn’t come close to allowing us
to purchase insurance.

my friend has been a rather staunch Republican, but she won't
be voting for McCain this year.
we can all see from this past weeks events on Wall St. just
how well deregulation has worked. we, the taxpayers, are going
to be paying for this rescue for decades. think you are
getting much value for your dollar?

McCain refers to it as a refundable tax credit, which is what the EIC is
(i.e. "free money"). So it would probably be yet another tax form.

As far as health insurance is concerned, there probably isn't going to be
money to do anything for several years. Plus, McCain as president with a
Democratic Congress likely would mean a stalemate.

depending upon which side of the table one is sitting a stalemate
could indeed be more desirable than checkmate.

The taxable value of an employer provided perk is called imputed income
- its been around for quite a while for things like company provided
cars and life insurance policies just to name two perks. The tax on
$10,000 of health insurance imputed income would probably be somewhere
around $500-$1,500. If the rebate is $5,000 the employee has a net gain
of $4,500 - $2,500 - pretty much enough to cover the emplyee's
contribution to the premium - that ain't bad. As far as individuals
buying the level of coverage typical of what an employer provides, that
is usually well above their ability to pay. But for major medical
coverage to handle emergency issues, the $5,000 will be a big help.
FWIW, even though the company pays $10,000 of the employee's premium,
there is typically a formula involved that would determine the imputed
value and that is usually less than the actual dollar amount of the item
cost.

Now, if the argument is that the government should be *giving* away
enough money to everyone to buy full featured medical plans - where
would anyone get the idea they are entitled to that???

I thought deregulation proved to be working very well in the market. The
recent bloodbath is the result of some very poor management and those
companies involved are suffering, as they should. The investors are
learning a lesson too. In the end, left alone, the failed companies
would be dismantled, bought or taken over by other companies that
exercise better judgment and the market would eventually be purged of
the waste. But now, the government will bail out the badly run
companies - a slap in the face to any company that was not making the
same stupid mistakes. What the taxpayers will be paying for in the
years to come is supporting poorly run businesses that should have been
allowed to go under - kinda like the way we taxpayers contribute to
support jimmee's bean patch. And we taxpayers will be paying more taxes
to help keep people in houses they should never have been allowed to
move into in the first place - that's a slap in my face for having
carefully managed my money to live within my means and live debt free.

yeah, that's not the one i was looking to post. i'll see if i
can find the non-biased one again... i didn't bookmark it.
personally, neither plan is good. McCain's is going to cause
soaring costs & cause more people to lose coverage (although
it's possible that in 5 or 6 years the market might actually
even out). Obama's won't work because it won't get funded.
all *i* want is a way to buy coverage for calamities, like
major illness or accidents. i don't really need coverage for
my annual exams & basic care.
while i'm at it, i'd like doctors to be honest about costs. i
was told up front that the MRIs & surgery for my cancer would
be around $24k. it was actually a little less.
however, i couldn't get any costs for the radiation ahead of
time & now have $32k i need to pay for that. *if* i had known,
i could have price checked between a couple different
hospitals. apparently the hospital i used doesn't have a no-
insurance discount. what *really* peeves me is the $500 every
time i had a less than 5 minute chat with the radiation doctor
(once/week). it was a waste of both my time & my money (and i
may request it be removed from my bill...)

Cost containment is the big issue. Maybe the
health care providers should be forced to disclose
fees. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Sadly, even in health care, the bottom line is
what ultimately controls what happens. Somebody
has to pay the bill. I just don't trust the
government enough to give them total one-payer
authority over our health care services.

My mom is 96 years old this month and used to own a home and used this product. She has been in senior mobile home park for three years and Septic savior calls her multiple times a month from all different phone numbers, as late as 7:30pm and as early as 8:00 am. Hello! She's 96! She has told them over and over that she's on sewer, no longer owns a home and they promise they "will update our systems" and she is still being harassed. How do I stop her sleep from being interrupted! Help!
