I am looking for a "classic" ambulance to restore. Although I think an
old, horse-drawn rig would be real cool, I don't have a horse. A Ford
Model T like Ernest Hemingway drove in WWI would be neat, but are more
scarce than hen's teeth. So would an old side-entry Plymouth, but it
has no personal signifigance. What I am looking for is what I started
my career in...a high-top Chevrolet Suburban. A number of companies
made them up until about 1980. Specifically, I am looking for a 1973-80
Summers Coach or Modulance (both of Dallas, TX) conversion, or a 1970-
72 National Ambulance Builders (Indianapolis, IN) rig. Can anyone,
particularly you Texans and Midwesterners, help me out?

Also, the seach for the ever elusive Horton ATM (All-Terrain-Medic) on
the Jeep Scrambler chassis goes on. Only 10 were ever built. Only two
are accounted for. Where are the others?

Keep your eyes open,
