Hello,

I've succesfully preformed CFA's with mirt. However I am not able to get general fit statistics with the extract.mirt function. How can I obtain these?

> extract.mirt(fit_CFA_1_original,'RMSEA')
[1] 0
> extract.mirt(fit_CFA_1_original,'TLI')
[1] NaN
> extract.mirt(fit_CFA_1_original,'RMSEA')
[1] 0

Strangely it does return BIC but not the others mentioned above.
> extract.mirt(fit_CFA_1_original,'BIC')
[1] 114598.1

You generally don't want the default fit statistics provided by the model (other than information indices) as they are quite unstable and not theoretically optimal. Try using the M2() function to obtain better goodness-of-fit statistics based on collapsing the complete tables of frequency counts to only first/second order information. HTH.
