You can check whether it's due to the accelerate = TRUE default. Sometimes its a bit too greedy in its acceleration scheme. Set it to FALSE to see if the error goes away (otherwise, check the log-likelihood iteration history to see if the model appears to be climbing and falling dramatically. Most of these warnings I've found are pretty mundane and can be ignored, but a warning is thrown just in case).
