Hi Phil

I want to fit a model where some items will be fixed and other are freely estimated. I tried fitting a model and then anchor all of items and then using the technical argument and set of estimators to predict over a new set of data the ability, but if I follow the same proceduro to anchor only a set of items an error appears. I don not how to do that. Thanks!!!

Regards

Fabio

Hi Fabio,

You don't have to use the invariance argument to multipleGroup to specify your anchors, and instead can use the mirt.model syntax explicitly. Look there first, and if you still are having issues feel free to post some code. Cheers.

Phil
