Can I simulate data with factor loadings only?

Hi all,

Can I simulate data with factor loadings only?

In the current, simdata() does not care about the 'd1 parameter' is NA, but I can not have confidence that is safe.

No, you need to have intercept terms in IRT models. While in factor analysis models with continuous data this is generally irrelevant, estimation of categorical models need some type of threshold parameter to control the observed proportions.
