Trabalho sobre Minix

Estou fazendo um trabalho da Faculdade sobre o minix, e gostaria de saber mais informações sobre ele! para que ele foi criado, qual o seu proposito.

éstou baixando o programa e vou fazer meus testes, caso alguem possa me mandar alguma coisa sobre o Minix abradeço

The Minix was created by Andrew S. Tanenbaum in educational purpose. You can see more in:

In the link you will see the book Operating Systems: Design and Implementation 3/e that is the main documentation for version 3 of Minix . Another book is Modern Operating Systems (3rd Edition) [Andrew S. Tanenbaum] that tells about Minix too.

Here in Brazil you can buy the portuguese version of the books in (Amazon[br], Submarino, Saraiva, Casas Bahia, others).
