Delete all your launcher files and re-download the proxy. It's corrupted.

Hi,

I did what you said but the problem is still there. Do I also need to
delete something from the minecraft folder under the Application
Support directory?

Thank you
KJ

Thank you very much! It worked! Finally, I have sound in minecraft. I tried everything, even trying "F3 and S" method. Nothing works. But this really works. You should post this to Minecraft wiki because this information is really good. I'm sure a lot of people will be happy that their sound problems will be gone. Again, thank you very much.

I have converted 'mineshafter-proxy.jar' to 'mineshafter-proxy.app' fixing sound and performance problems on Mac OS X. Do not move the folder 'Mineshafter' from your applications folder or else 'mineshafter-proxy.app' wont load.
