[GUIDE] How to fix the new Mineshafter launcher problem (1.7.4)

Some of you guys having the Failed Download thingy when updating or starting the game. This Guide might will help fix the problem but its work perfectly for me.

1. Go to the Windows start menu.

2. Type in %appdata% and press Enter on your keyboard.

3. Delete the .minecraft folder (Backup the folder if you want to keep it)

4. Download the the new Mineshafter launcher here (Skip this step if you already have)

5. Download the latest real Minecraft launcher here.

6. Double-click on the Minecraft.exe (Register at Mojang if you doesn't have one)

7. Click on Play and let it Update and Download and all the stuff.

8. Close the Demo and then double-click on Mineshafter Launcher.

9. Insert your Mineshafter username and password inside the box (If you haven't created a Mineshafter account click here)

10. Click Log In and then click Play.

11. Enjoy! :D

If you have any cracked 1.7.4  Minecraft server to suggest, please post it below! :D

Just putting this here, AWM, you need to use Command Blocks more.

And probably some warps.

Some of the supply Dispensers ran out of items, and the spawn is confusing to navigate.

Can you copy the Log? It would say any error if something going wrong.

Did you let it update yet? If you update already try play with its own Minecraft Launcher and if its run well then try play with Mineshafter.

Please give me  your 1.7.4 Folder due to i need to make a resource pack. I will post the link here ONCE finished. It includes :

new textures (duh)

new sounds (villagers now say : hi)

special map (if you use the special map then you get the mod-resource. Which i coded and basically it gives you for exp: A diamond block but instead its called Iolite block+ new texture)

and a shit ton more i hope :d

For those who still having problems:
1. Uninstall all your java.
2. Install the latest java(JRE) according to your OS (32/64 bit). http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
3. Delete the "launcher_mcpatched.jar" and "launcher_profiles.json" in your .minecraft folder.
4. Open mineshafter and play.
5. As usual, Enjoy the game!

This works for me after doing the steps above.

dude when i heard this solution i thought it would must work but (in my first try and i gave up you will know why) i think the demo will download everything and i will play through mineshafter but i was wrong it didn't work because the real minecraft launcher asked me my username and password but i can't log in because it's the real one what am i supposed to do now? i shed a few tears because this game is my best friend of all because i have many games having better story better graphics but i don't know why i love this game i can't stay happy without this game

How to fix the mineshafter problem.

1. Earn £19 or $25.
2. Buy minecraft
3. Problem fixed! Only took 3 steps. This resolution worked amazingly for m3.

special map (if you use the special map then you get the mod-resource. Which i coded and basically it gives you for exp: A diamond block but instead its called Iolite block+ new texture)

A new minecraft cracked launcher is out, its called the Dropcrack laucher. Works all the time. Doesnt need all this mineshafter stuff.
