Maybe you have a turtle in an infinite loop or running somewhere that you don't know of?  Have you tried a fresh world with or without CCedu?  Or it may even be an issue with an NPC?  Are you using a map that someone else made or your own design?

Hey Steve,

I had a similar issue with my world and it almost made me cry. LOL...I thought for sure the world was gone and i would have to start over.

It turned out that as I flew around I would crash periodically due to some sort of glitch in an NPC. I am not sure if you are using any NPCs, but if so, fly around and when you crash...somewhere in that area there may be one that is causing issues.

With that said...You do not need to fly to the same spot to delete an NPC, if you are close and have the NPC Wand in your hand..right click into the sky...and a list of nearby NPCs will show up. Delete them and see if it still crashes. It seems the entity: Schiggy is the one you want to delete.

I am not saying this is your issue as you map not even have NPCs, but it was what was causing me these random issues once, and that fixed it..the world is alive and kicking today.

I'm pretty sure this crash report is exactly the same one that I've got myself on dozens of occasions when using CCEdu.  It seems to crop up when chunks are unloaded while a turtle is still running. ie. Some players log off without stopping the turtles.  To confirm that's the issue, shut down the server. Before reloading the map, disable CCEdu from the mods menu. If everything looks okay (aside from the obvious lack of turtles and disks), I think that's what is going on.  Either way, make sure NOT to save at this point, since you'd be saving a world without all of those CCEdu items.
Out of curiosity, is this a world you've made yourself or one you downloaded? I've had the error a ton on my world, but nobody else seemed to encounter it much.
So if this is your issue, the really good news is that the devs have fixed the problem and it will be a non-issue when the mod is released.  As soon as you swap a new enough build in, the problem goes away. I don't know any other way to fix the crashes once they start though.

If it is a turtle, I am pretty sure we could find and destroy said turtle in MCEdit if you have a rough idea of where it is.

Aha, Shane is better at reading crash reports than I am, if it is a turtle, his location is
Entity ID: 89
    Entity Name: Schiggy
    Entity's Exact location: -592,60, 135,00, 48,06

Just putting it here in case we need it :D

Thank you all for the input!

I use a world I build myself loosely based on the Turtle-world for CCEDU.
I will try to disable the npc`s first, because I don’t really need them (and upgrade my version to stable 20... whoa.. I missed some updates...you guys work really fast now :) )

I use some turtles with infinite loops too (cc advanced turtles, not the ccedu ones) - but they aren`t running/active when the server crashes. The Server didn`t crash so far when I started them, or several of them at once.
Unfortunately I need them to work in infinite loops (They are painting a picture - randomly - forever) and I try to prevent the students from accessing them by letting them work infinitely.

The Server crashes started weeks after i implemented the infinite-loop turtles. So i doubt thats the main reason... But i will nevertheless try to deactivate them if everything else fails.

And this:

    Entity ID: 89
    Entity Name: Schiggy

was a player currently playing on the Server - not a turtle

We had a lot of more time when we waited so long before starting to go in 1.7 so there was time to implement a looot of features in with Toni. Hope you like them =)

The server still crashes randomly - with players playing or completely empty. I guess we will have to live with it for now. My research with the world starts next week... wish me luck that the server is running at least most of the time ;)
