I´m having trouble crafting the ”framing saw”.

Have the recipe (3 iron ingots, 2 wooden planks). I´m using the crafting table and putting these items into the grid, but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

I need the saw to do the Furniture paneler. Please help.

1. Are you sure you are using the correct crafting pattern?

Most people here play on servers, which is why I am going to ask you:
2. Does this happen on single player as well?
3. If so, could you test this with Not Enough Items installed? It has a function where you can look up an item in a list and showing you its recipe when hovering over the item with your mouse pointer and pressing R.

I have now tried in single player as well. Doesn´t work either. I´ve also tried installing the Not Enough items mod. Put it into the mod folders, but it crashes everytime I want to go into my inventory. I´ll try different versions of it later, but I don´t understand why this is not working. Should be simpel.
Thanks.

Dear miss Larsen,

Could you share your crash report? It is found in the crash-reports folder.
Also, I guess you installed CodeChickenCore as well, as your game did not crash on startup. But just to be sure: Did you?

Regards,
Mathew

Thank you so much for helping.
Yes I did install both CodeChickenCore and NotEnoughItems (chose the recommended version for 1.7.10 on this sit http://chickenbones.net/Pages/links.html)
When I open the MCEdu Launcher (server), the mods don´t show in the launcher. When I have started a world and start up the client and click to see mods, they show.
Here is the crash report. Tried again same result.

Greeting Hanne

Hi again

Figured it out. Elementary maybe.
I found that I had an older Bibliocraft version (1.9.2) and the video tutorial I watched was for ver 1.10.0. Should have seen it, but didn´t.
Thought that I had the newest version installed, so didn´t think to look there.
Sorry about that.

Hey Hanne,

Glad you were able to figure it out. It always seems like the people helping ask the most basic questions, but that is for a reason. We want to make sure the obvious has been covered before we have yo do more unnecessary digging.

Although the idea of using NEI in theory was sound, I wouldn't advise anyone that is having mod issues to install more mods to find the problem. More often you will end up causing more headaches and if you had continued down that road, trial and erro to get NEI working, just to try and figure out if Biblio is working.

Again, glad you were able to figure it out.

I figured out why I had an old version. I install Bibliocraft using the launcher and here the version is 1.9.2. Just don´t know why you wouldn´t be able to choose a newer version.

The mods found in the launcher have been tested and are confirmed working with MinecraftEdu, if you find a newer version that works, you can let the team know and they may update the files in the launcher.

Elfie.
