I saw two professional ironing stations at the habitat for humanity store this week.  They were 60 bucks each and it may be worth it, I'm not sure.  I remember one was Thor brand possibly from 40s - similar to this one on youtube https://youtu.be/ocytqTjMoRc

Years ago I knew a lady that used an ironing mangle to iron her saris. This looks like museum stuff.
