I've got a couple of cars with AC leaks, I've put dye in both but need a UV light to find the leaks.

Does anyone have a light they know works  with these dyes?

Do you just need a blacklight?

There's a handheld one on the Hack Rack™...I think it needs a battery cover.

I was mistaken...it also needs the contacts for the other side of the fluorescent tube.

Not the most convenient thing, but I have a working 4ft blacklight fixture in my basement, you're welcome to try it out.

I have an LED UV light that worked in the past, but I have been looking for it for a few months. Will keep you posted.

I've got Tony's UV flashlight, that should work.  Thanks everyone.
