3rd Meeting Scheduled for January 21, 2014

Based on your responses to an email I sent to all of you who either attended one or both of our first two meetings or expressed an interest in doing so, there was a good consensus but not total agreement (sounds like a group of Commonweal readers, does it not?), about when and where to meet for our next meeting.  So taking the info I got from a number of you, let’s schedule our next Milwaukee Commonweal Reader’s Community meeting as follows:

 

When: Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 6 PM

Where: Panera Bread at 8907 Howell Avenue / Highway #38, between Puetz and Ryan Roads.  Howell Ave. is about a mile east of I-94.  

 

Just so you know, you can order food at Panera’s (I will because it will be supper time for me) but you do not have to.  They do have several areas in the restaurant where we could congregate and have a semi-private space in which to meet.

 

Please let me know if you will be attending.  And please feel free to invite any current or past readers of Commonweal to join us.  Since our group started in September, Laura Gellott and I have found two more Commonweal readers in the Racine area who are very interested in being part of our Commonweal Readers Community.

 

Bring your Commonweal magazines with you from November 15 onward up to our meeting date on January 21, and we can discuss whatever articles are of interest to the various members of our group. 

 

In the meantime, have a Blessed and Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year in 2014.
