Hi all,

We have seen the following issue with Fineract/Mifosx distribution once you install the JDK 1.8.0_151/152 with tomcat 7.0.xx.

"Application fails to load most of the data and you can see net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED error in browser console"

Issue is related to JDK and you can see the details below.

So try to avoid installing this version.

Note: If you need this version for some reason, then you need to disable the compression in tomcat server.xml file (This causes increase in bandwidth usage).

Regards,
Nazeer

Hello Support,
Which version are you suggesting, JDK and Tomcat?
I have the same challenges

Thanks @SantoshMath/Nazeer,

I can now access the resources, I now used jdk1.8.0_131 instead of jdk1.8.0_151/152

Hi Yubaraj , Gbenga and others,

Please follow up the following mail for the  issues of drop-downs are not appearing for currency, holiday, etc.

Once you install jdk version 1.8(except 151 & 152) , it should work.
