Sander,

Thanks for the feedback on usability, also we can think of office level
import, at present import tool get the lookup data at org level and import
template does not work if org has more than 4 thousand clients

And please please send the bug fix done at Musoni to openmf repo, looking
forward for the PR.

Hi Suraj

I have seen in your server.xml you have connected with mysql connector,
Mifos is using drizzle connector, replace your server.xml file with the
one from
https://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/docs/Mifos+X+Installation+on+Linux+-+Ubuntu+Server
and make sure you have downloaded drizzle jdbc connector as instructed
from the link

Hi,

We are evaluating Mifos for our lending platform. While evaluation, my team
came up with following observations on missing features in Mifos.

1. Auto assigning of leads/loan applications to credit officers

2. Tracking the comments/notes given by credit officers on loan
applications

3. Support for document management (documents provided by customers)

4. Tracking of loans as per different criteria (loans requested/
approved / declined/ cancelled)

For above reasons, my team may not use Mifos.

Thought to share these with you all. If any of the above features make sense
from product perspective, you may want to add to the product. Also, some CRM
features can be thought of to make Mifos much more compelling and one stop
solution for many lending organizations.

Hi Suraj ,

Of the feature you have listed as missing

> 2. Tracking the comments/notes given by credit officers on loan applications

Mifos X has the ability to attach comments notes across all relevant entities ( Clients , loans , savings etc)

> 3. Support for document management (documents provided by customers)

Same here , document management is available across all relevant entities

> 4. Tracking of loans as per different criteria (loans requested/ approved / declined/ cancelled)
A loan application has the distinct lifecycle stages in Mifos including New (requested) , approved , rejected , disbursed , active (good and bad standing ) , closed (including rescheduled ), written off and overpaid

Standard reports to track various stages are also available out of the box . Any additional reports you require can be added easily using our reporting API's

You can also achieve custom workflows ( auto assign loan applications to loan officers, using what logic ?) by orchestrating the available API's.

We do not have a full fledged CRM though and prefer the approach of integrating with other CRM vendors for now .

Regards,
Vishwas
