Hello Ralla,

You will have to enable file access from files in chrome to view the
application.
It works fine when viewed in firefox.

If you want to access the same from chrome.
Proceed with the following steps.

1)Identify the location of your chrome.exe file.
In my case it is C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\
2)open a notepad and add the following
c:
cd C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\
chrome.exe --allow-file-access-from-files
3)save the file with .bat extension (chrome.bat)
4)Now run the batch file and enter the URL

You should be able to view the screen with correct labels.

Regards,
Sughosh

Hello,

Release 15.03.1 has been shipped and can be downloaded from source forge at https://sourceforge.net/projects/mifos/?source=directory <https://sourceforge.net/projects/mifos/?source=directory> . This release has also be promoted to the Demo servers

This minor release ships new functionality like the ability to create loans products whose interest compounding periods may be different from their rest periods and allowing extension of repayment schedule for daily loans when repayments fall on holidays along with a number of bug fixes and improvements to the Community app.
Release notes can be viewed at https://github.com/openMF/mifosx/blob/develop/CHANGELOG.md#15031release

Important note on API breaking changes for app developers: As a part of the changes made for MIFOSX-2036, Group and center template API's no longer return details of "clientOptions" and "groupMemberOptions". You are requested to use /clients and /groups API's with the newly introduced query parameter "orphansOnly" for retrieving details of Clients and Groups which may be associated with particular Groups and Centers respectively. Sample usage of the same can be found on the "manage members" section on the Group profile screen and "Manage Groups" section of the Center profile screen

Regards,
Vishwas

Hi Mifos-users,
I'm a newbie of Mifos from Vietnam. Firstly, i follow the Mifos X automated
installation on ubuntu. Everything went fine and I could run the
community-app on my local machine. Now I want to change the default
language into my localization language. I had followed the configuration
guide (https://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/MIFOS/Configuration+Guide)
of customizing the application configuration file but the problem is that I
can not find the applicationConfiguration.default.properties file or even
the Mifos Configuration locations ($HOME/.mifos). Could anyone help me
please?
Thanks and regards!

Dear Vishwas,
Thank you a lot for your reply. I have try the new minor release and it
works with vietnamese option at the login page.
There's one thing that when I logged into mifos, there are some phrases
that are not translated. Is there a way to translate them offline?
Best regards,

Hi Vu,

Our translations are done by Translatewiki, if you want to add missing translations for Vietnamese, you would do so through https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Special:Translate?group=out-mifos&language=vi&filter=translated <https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Special:Translate?group=out-mifos&language=vi&filter=translated>

If you want to make changes locally, you can do so in global-translation/locale-vi.json (you can refer global-translation/locale-en.json for the equivalent english verbiage) in the community-app folder.

However, I would urge you to please make the same changes in translatewiki too (else when you upgrade to the next version, you would have to merge all the changes you have made locally to the translation files that are shipped with the new release)

Regards,
Vishwas

Hi Vu,

All the information under https://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/MIFOS/Legacy+Mifos+2.x+User+Documentation <https://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/MIFOS/Legacy+Mifos+2.x+User+Documentation> is meant for the original Mifos Product. This product is no longer supported by the community.

The product you have downloaded is the newer MifosX suite. In the MifosX community app, a user can select his default language from the login screen.

Regards,
Vishwas

Now I want to change the default language into my localization language. I had followed the configuration guide (https://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/MIFOS/Configuration+Guide) of customizing the application configuration file but the problem is that I can not find the applicationConfiguration.default.properties file or even the Mifos Configuration locations ($HOME/.mifos). Could anyone help me please?

I have successfully installed mifos on Ubuntu Version and I can be able to open the user interface on https://localhost:8443/#/
Now I want to add another interface with a different mifostenants-xxxx, but I can't be able to open it from the user interface.
Anyone with an idea on how to go about please assist.
Thanks,

Dear Mifos User Community -

What is your biggest question about using Mifos X? How to configure a loan? How to create a fixed deposit account? How to develop an internal training program? Something else?

Post your wish list of topics and we will get them into the bi-weekly user meeting agenda. Remember, these meetings are for you and we want to be sure you are getting the support you need to get the most out of Mifos X.

If you have done a unique configuration to the Mifos X platform, the community would love to see it! We will set up a meeting for you to share.

Looking forward to hearing back from all of you!

-Dayna

I am stuck trying to add client types to the new Client creation screen. My dropdown list is empty? The docs say that client types are created when organization is set up but i don't recall anything about client types during set up? I' even tried finding the table might have these to add them manually but I don't see any such table??
Thanks for your help

Vu,

Alternatively, you can perform translations offline via Translatewiki.net
following their guide at https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Translating:Offline

You will grab the proper .po files from the TWN site and then use a tool
called poedit to translate.

If you don't have the necessary permissions, I could get the offline files
for you and then you could complete the translation and then we share it
back.

Thanks,

Ed
