Dear Santhosh,

I have set up the organization start date as 3/april/2010
I have set up the opening balance for my organization on for 3/april/2010. (In which format I have to add the organisation start date into database?)
I have started disbursing the loan and do the repayment from 1/June/2017.
I have added the old data from existing system to Mifos using DataImportTool dated from 2/april/2010 to 31/may/2017 into Mifos.

Will my accounting work properly as expected?

The way I am doing is correct?

Hi Hari,

3rd product (Per day loan):
How to setup per day interest?

-- As of now, nominal interest rate is set for either per month per year.

How to pre-close the loan as mentioned by applying interest amount charged as per the day count from the starting to the last day of payment?

--In loan product level, set 'Interest Calculation Period' as Daily.

4th product (Invoice Finance):
How to configure this product?

During disbursement, We need to do the deductions as mentioned below.
Processing Fees
Service tax applicable on Processing fee
Insurance Fee (As per Rate)
Service tax Applicable on Insurance
Broken period Interest & other deductions
How to configure Service tax for processing fee and Insurance fee? This needs to be reflected in accounting as well.

-- I believe Santhosh has explained you same in another mail thread.

Ed,

Hope you are doing great.
I have a good news to share.  Yes, we have got an MFI customer and he is willing to proceed with Mifos installation.

The MFI customer has given the attached products to be configured. While configuring the products, We have few queries which have to get sorted out as soon as possible as the customer needs to use the application immediately.

I have CCed Mr. Hariharan and Mr. Rajeev in this loop.. who are the ones talking to the customer. It would be better to schedule a skype call to take this to the next level. Kindly let me know your convenient time to discuss this. Or you can assign a respective person to guide us would be great.

Expecting your earliest response!
