[Mifos-users] MIFOSX - 16.09.01.RELEASE on Staging Environment

Hello All,

 

Today we have made 16.09.01.RELEASE on Staging Environment for community testing and for QA team.

Release can be accessed from https://staging.openmf.org. We will wait till Monday for community & QA feedback.

The main focus of the release is to improve the platform performance and to unfreeze the development.

  - Fix for performance issues while loading configuration and floating rates
 - Performance issue fix for repayment template

 - Loading child collections of Loan, Savings Account, Office, Client lazily.

 - [MIFOSX-1894] - Cashier Transaction Summary Pentaho Report

 - [MIFOSX-2731] Combined both savings charges and penalties into charges  drop down
 - [MIFOSX-2784] Including all transactions in Teller Cashier transaction list

I am seeking the location to make the actual UAT notes for this release.  There should be a jira issue open to make the release comments while it is on the staging server.  Since I cannot find such an issue or document, I make them here.  Please provide the link to the UAT comment document and I will revert to using that.

[MIFOSX-1894] - Cashier Transaction Summary Pentaho Report Staging Server Notes:

• View report not in roles/permissions list.  Must be able to check allow view to enable teller/cashier to view their own totals.   https://staging.openmf.org/#/admin/viewrole/3

[MIFOSX-2784] Including all transactions in Teller Cashier transaction list Notes:

• This is also Fineract-203. This was pushed from MifosX to Fineract Jira
• Assumption I am making is that the line item on the Teller/Cashier Daily Total report addresses this request.  If this is so, there needs to be two transfer totals “from” and “to”  the teller must be able to see that the these two totals match and are in balance.

Discovered bug when logged on as employee with Cashier/teller permissions.  The permissions for this role allow the user to view reports  When logged in as and employee with the Casher/Teller permissions, the report drop down is not available.  I have gone in as SuperUser and changed permissions within the assigned role with no change.  I would like to have a second person review this and determine if it is truly a bug.

Regarding performance fix issues:  I have performed multiple transactions as an employee from areas of differing internet speeds and found that response times were acceptable.  However, I understand that the staging server is not actually on our demo or production servers, so this observation may change.

Hi Devs,
These are my observations:-

1. Loan Repayments, Disbursement, Loan Charges waved, Loan Charges,Prepaid Loans, Foreclosure Loans by a teller don't show in the transaction listing. i.e
   
   Organization>Tellers>Transactions
2. Detailed Report for all transaction listings for the teller should be include for easy calling with day sheet ( should include all transactions either cash or voucher e.g Loan disbursed, repayment, Share deposits, Shares Redeemed, Savings Deposit , Savings Withdrawals, Account Transfers [standing instructions run by a teller], ) with description notes. 3. When all tellers are not settled, it should allow to create account closure (closing of books)
