RGB LED strips cheap

Bargain Hunt on Summer has 5M spools of waterproof 300 5050 RGB LEDs, boxed with an in-line amplifier and a 3A 12V power supply for $6.50.  They easily had 20+ of these kits left today.  This is meant to be an add-on to some "system" that amounts to an IR remote receiver you can buy from China for a buck or two, and they're perfectly compatible with Arduinos and what-not, for building customize house/project/car lighting.  The 5M waterproof light strips alone, ordered from China, usually cost more than this kit.
