Good Evening MidSouth Makers members!

On April 1st, the board members held a planning session to discuss where MidSouth Makers is now as an organization, what goals
we would like to accomplish and start the process of trying to achieve them.

Out of this discussion came the following:

MidSouth Makers Goals and Objectives:
Maintain a self-sustaining Makerspace in the Memphis area that desires to
* Increase membership
* Educate the community
* Foster creativity
* Make stuff happen

To that end, we came up with some broad action items to help accomplish those goals. This is where you, the member, come in. We need
assistance with these items. Next to each item is the board member(s) that will lead that particular item:

* Partner with Sister organizations - Claudio & Joe
* Promote MidSouth Makers via media, social or otherwise - Claudio & Todd
* Promote/Continue helping others - the Board as a whole
* Increase the number of group projects - Cliff
* Increase the number of events (classes, workshops, LAN parties, cookouts, etc) - Danny & Todd

If you are interested in helping with any of these items, please contact the appropriate member

It is the members that make this group what it is, and we appreciate every one of you. We welcome any and all input, so don't hesitate
to let us know what we're going good and what we can improve upon. Together we can make it even greater.

I'm willing to help with organizing group projects and would love to offer some classes. My specialties are in process mechanical work and leather. Also, if we need help organizing cookouts or parties, I'll help with whatever.
