NT Apm/Legacy interface node

Running XP pro I often have a blue srceen with stack
dump...ect.

In system info, components, problem device I have an
error 37 on NT Apm/Legacy Support. When I try to trouble
shoot nothing is happening. when I try to update the
driver the code 37 comes to me.
I have no idea of what NT Apm/Legacy Support does or does
not so it would be great if some could help me on that
one.
