Hi,

System Monitor on my XP SP2 box is not updating, and I would appreciate any
ideas how to fix or troubleshoot this problem. More specifically, when I do
Start->Run->Type "perfmon" and click OK, the System Monitor window pops up,
but the red vertical line is not moving.

A couple more observations that may be relevant:

1. WMI Performance Adapter (wmiapsrv.exe) is running.

2. HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ESE\ key is absent in registry. I
found out about that when trying to follow
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997018.aspx

Thank you,
--Leon.

Leon,
Is this machien part of a network with exchange server in action?

Did it worked before?
What the Log error report?
Some info below may help to narrow down the issue:

This message was NOT spoofed. Note the headers - which you folks
using the MS community web based access to the groups apparently can't
see.

NASS "spoofed" himself.
