Since you don't specify otherwise, I assume you are playing using the
Opera web browser and the VLC video plugin.

No, I'm not getting that error.

In fact, I'm not getting anything. Besides giving us no pertinent
details, you gave us an invalid URL.

My mistake, the link had this on the end.

I use Firefox and whatever it uses to show videos.

Same thing happens in Seamonkey.

I'm not perfect, either, but I try. When I have a question, I try to
describe it fully and provide pertinent details. I don't assume people
can see over my shoulder. I'll do a little internet searching to see if
I can find the answer on my own before asking people to spend their
valuable time helping me.

I don't see you trying.

It uses geolocation at the very least.
it uses DATG player, a wrapper around Flash.
In other words, they don't want anyone to watch.
Their advertiser must be very happy.

So when they tell you "there is a top secret report",
they weren't kidding. Even the NSA doesn't have a copy.

I got a different error code (something about not being able to watch
outside the USA).

It's got something to do with the page code trying to access something
from the host sp.auth.adobe.com.

Adding that host to your HOSTS file just seems to hang the page in
question from loading.

Would be nice if someone could simulate the function locally of what
that host is doing.

==============
These functions initiate requests for interaction with an MVPD. All
calls are asynchronous; you must implement callbacks to handle the
responses; see Callback API for details.

Make this call before any other API calls in a communication session,
to identify the site from which the requests originate. Pass the unique
identifier >requestor ID< that was assigned to the originating site
during registration;see "unresolved" >Registering with Adobe Pass<

The second parameter allows you to specify the endpoints for the
authentication and authorization services provided by an Adobe Pass
authorized partner. This is optional; by default, the Adobe service
provider is used (http://sp.auth.adobe.com/). If you are working with an
Adobe Pass authorized partner, pass the URLs for that service provider's
endpoints.
=================

This is hillarious:

==============
You are viewing an old version of this page.

View the current version:

https://wikidocs.adobe.com/wiki/display/AdobePass/6.1+Request+API
================

When you try to look at the "current version", you get this:

==============
A page with this title has been deleted. Contact your space
administrator if you would like it restored.

I think the Top Secret is now, very safe. Very very safe.

ABC is related to Disney, so this isn't really a surprise.
The "Macrovision of the Internet".
