Windows Update error 80070026

I'm having a problem with windows update returning an error code of 80070026.
After search forums I can not find a solutions for this error code. The
message simply says "Windows could not search for new updates." I've
disabled my firewall and still receive the message.

When I first noticed this issue was when I installed Office 2007 Pro and
tried to update it.

Any suggestions?

Always state your Windows version, please.

Tip: Temporarily disable real-time protection by your anti-virus and/or
anti-spyware applications (e.g., CounterSpy, Spysweeper, Spybot Tea Timer,
AVG Anti-Spyware) and/or any third-party firewall (e.g., ZA) before
attempting to install the update(s). If you disable the third-party
firewall, make certain that you enable the Windows Firewall!

I'm sorry I forgot to post what version of Windows I was running. I'm
running Vista Home Premium. I've turned off McAfee real-time AV scanning and
the firewall. Then I enabled Windows firewall. After doing that still no
luck updating so I rebooted the computer and tried it again with no luck. I
highly doubt it has anything to do with McAfee being that I've received
updates in the past with no problem while McAfee was running. Here is some
