RAS and PPP error 629

Hello,
When I try to make an PPP RAS connection between two NT 4 machines I
get an error 629. Checking of the userid/password goed correct but
when registering the machine on the network this error occurs.
The last lines of the PPP.LOG on the RAS server are:
PPP Packet sent at ...
PPP Packet received ..
FsmThisLayerUp called for protocol = 8021, port=0.

Does anybody know what could be the problem?
