Running XP Pro with WMP 11 - players shuts down right after opening and
shows debug/close error window. I have tried through add/remove to
rollback. However, each attempt results with same message 'Windows
Media Player 11 rollback failed'.

I have tried reinstalling WMP11 on top of the existing installation
without success.

Any help would be appreciated!

What's the exact text of the error message that you are trying to solve?

Do you have details for that crash from Event Viewer?

Are you trying to solve the issue with WMP11 or are you trying to use a
previous version of WMP instead?

I am trying to resolve the issue with WMP11 and was only trying to
rollback to 10 in order to reinstall 11.

Thank you for your response!
