Hello Daren,

Thank you for posting to the SBS Newsgroup.

I am sorry but from your description, I cannot fully understand what exact
issue you are experiencing. In order to supplement your description, I need
your help to gather the following information:

1. Just to double confirm, are you running SBS 2K3 or SBS 2K? If it is SBS
2K3, have you applied SBS 2K3 SP1 on it?

2. Where do you get the error message, please? On the Server Start Up or in
Application Log? Can you boot your SBS Server?

3. Did you experience this issue before? If no, did you make any changes on
the SBS Server recently? For example, install any updates/software or
change any hardware?

4. I suggest that you type the exact error message word by word to the
Newsgroup for accurate research. If possibly, I strongly suggest that you
capture a screen shot for it so we can better understand your issue.

5. On the server, run "eventvwr" (without quotation marks), check whether
there are any errors in Application and System. If yes, double click it,
click the Copy button and paste the full content to the Newsgroup.

Please take your time to gather the information. If you have any updates,
please feel free to let me know. I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,

Brandy Nee

Ahhh Bluetooth

Now removed but thought it was a good idea as we all use Pocket PCs here, so
to be able to sync directly....

Got it all worked now over GPRS anyway.

But can't get rid of the error everytime the server boots.

Cheers

1st, in add/remove programs, remove any software installed for the BT
device.

then, from a command prompt

set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1
start devmgmt.msc

in the resulting devmgr console - View, Show Hidden Devices

any sign of your BT? remove it. Restart. Does the error still occur? IF so,
it may require you to reconnect the BT device, reinstall and then remove the
software support, logically remove the device and then physically disconnect
it.
