I have responded by posting a new link where you can obtain that CD.

Let me know if you don't see the post, or have trouble downloading it.

Links for Disk I:
Windows 95 OEM SR2 + Original Retail version

http://rapidgator.net/file/5c0f9c50b8c8eece23cdef340501a9c0/WINDOWS_95.part1.rar.html
http://rapidgator.net/file/5328edb687ab79983ebfea0583781f53/WINDOWS_95.part2.rar.html

These links will remain valid for 3 or 4 weeks after the date of the
last active download.

When downloading from Rapidgator, select "slow speed download", answer
the captcha,
wait 30 seconds, and you will be given a download link. You will only
be able to download 1
file at a time, and probably have to wait a few hours between downloads
unless you can change your IP address between downloads.

These files are 190 mb or less in size. You will need to download all
of them to have the complete archive file. You will need winrar (or
possibly winzip) to decompress this archive, which
will give you this file:

WINDOWS_95.ISO (308 mb)

You can burn that to a CD-R, or use a program like WinImage
(http://www.winimage.com/winimage.htm) to extract the files from the
ISO. Winrar can also extract the contents from the ISO image.

If this MSDN CD is no longer available at the above links or if you are
seeking the other MSDN CD's that were part of this series originally
posted at various times in 2014 that are no longer available, then post
a request to the usenet newsgroup microsoft.public.win-98.gen_discussion
to have the CD re-uploaded.

I don't read usenet much any more, so you're lucky I spotted your post.

Tell you what.

Make your request here again. That way I know you're reading this and
looking for a response. If I see you reply to this post, then I'll
re-upload that CD (to where, I don't know, I'll figure that out if this
gets that far)

Any chance to reupload this?

Maybe.

I'd have to find a free file-hoster somewhere. It's been a while since
I put those up on the web. Any suggestions?

But first, you've got to reply back here to show you're reading and
following this thread.

Because what tends to happen is that someone asks for these CD's but
then disappears and I have no way to know they're still interested.

No preferences. Any of them. Now I personally use sendfile.su, but there is no English version of interface.

Of course, I'm reading.

This is not my case.

Ok.

I think this is what you're looking for:

https :// sendgb.com /AWfNFQRB8pw

(remove the spaces in the above link)

The file is WIN95_DDK.rar. It's about 18 mb.

It is password protected.

The password is "a"

Let me know if this was the wrong MSDN disk.

Many thanks! It's definitely the most recent version that i know (i have original (1995) version and version from 1996 June, your MSDN is the third version). But can i ask .ISO dump that you mention in your opening post (if you have it still, of course)?

When I first offered these CD's for download, I copied the contents of
each CD to a hard drive folder, then I created an .ISO file from the
files on the hard drive folder, then I created a multi-part set of .rar
files from the ISO file. Unless the ISO file was less than 50 mb (in
which case there would be a single .rar file, not multi-part).

So the ISO file would be no different than what I did in this case
(create a single .rar file directly from the files coped to the hard
drive folder).
