I have a legitimate copy of Enterprise 2007. When I try to install it can't
find Access.en-us/AccLR.cab. I'm guessing that if I find that cab it will
need others. The DVD has those files but can't locate them. Any ideas? I
really don't want to go thru torrent or a site like that in order to keep
stuff off of my computer. Thanks for your help.

No luck at all. Nothing out there works either. I am using Office XP and so
far its working. It’s a bit frustrating to not be able to use the software
you have. Especially since Vista is the most recent windows product and
Enterprise 2007 is fairly new as well. Hope they figure it out one of these
days.

I now tried installing the MS Ent 07 Home Use Program on DVD disc on my
laptop Dell Inspiron 4100 with a XP operating system already residing, no
luck here either. This same laptop mentioned is imprinted with the compact
disc and DVD logos on the outer frame area of the disc input, thus I thought
it might work better than my failed try earlier.

My failed try earlier occured on a desktop Dell Dimension 4500S with XP
operating system and no such DVD imprint, but indeed a compact disc imprint.

But, back to my laptop attempt today. No luck when I try installing, this
time I am greeted by an immediate Error window reading, "The specified
program requires a newer version of Windows."

As some one may dismally say, "Bloody Bollocks!" Can anyone out there help
solve this impasse!

no problems. It works like it is suppose to. But I can't install it on vista
at all.

I got this error while doing an Office Repair on Office 2007 Enterprise on a
Vista Home Premium laptop...

it said "Setup cannot find Access.en-us\Access.en-us\AccLR.cab

I found the file with a search, copied made a subfolder called Access.en-us
inside the Access.en-us folder, copied AccLR.cab into the new subfolder, and
directed setup to the root folder above the original Access.en-us folder -
that worked...

Hi, i had the same problem -
You need to copy the CD image to a directory like My Documents. Create a sub
folder called MS Office (or anything you like) then extract the CD image to
that folder (i used Magic ISO) . Then open the folder and run the "setup.exe"
file - and hey presto it works! hope it helps , Tom

It would appear that Microsoft are leaving us out in the open on this issue.
I have been searching on this matter for weeks with no luck.

Plus all my attempts have failed.

Microsoft have also not released any official knowledge base articles on
this matter which considering the large number of people having this issue is
more than disapointing...

I hope that a microsoft staff member reads this.

I am having the same issue as well. I am installing Office 2007 Enterprise in
Windows 7 and I get the same Access.en-us/AccLR.cab error. I tried many
different things, including suggestions from this forum, but nothing worked.
Does anyone have an answer to fix this problem?
