My failed try earlier occured on a desktop Dell Dimension 4500S with XP
operating system and no such DVD imprint, but indeed a compact disc imprint.
But, back to my laptop attempt today. No luck when I try installing, this
time I am greeted by an immediate Error window reading, "The specified
program requires a newer version of Windows."
As some one may dismally say, "Bloody Bollocks!" Can anyone out there help
solve this impasse!

it said "Setup cannot find Access.en-us\Access.en-us\AccLR.cab
I found the file with a search, copied made a subfolder called Access.en-us
inside the Access.en-us folder, copied AccLR.cab into the new subfolder, and
directed setup to the root folder above the original Access.en-us folder -
that worked...

Hi, i had the same problem -
You need to copy the CD image to a directory like My Documents. Create a sub
folder called MS Office (or anything you like) then extract the CD image to
that folder (i used Magic ISO) . Then open the folder and run the "setup.exe"
file - and hey presto it works! hope it helps , Tom
content : I have a legitimate copy of Enterprise 2007. When I try to install
(TIA:)
Plus all my attempts have failed.
Microsoft have also not released any official knowledge base articles on
this matter which considering the large number of people having this issue is
more than disapointing...
I hope that a microsoft staff member reads this.
PLEASE HELP!
