Secondary Site not working

I was finally able to get a successful install to the secondary site, but for
some reason they are not communicating to each other. I made sure i can get
to the folder via the secondary server... netbios works fine... apparently
its completely open between the firewall.. note the secondary is on another
domain, but connected via a trust... i know i'm not suppose to do this either
but i gave that sms_site the everyone permission and it still fails...... any
ideas to why this might be happening..... plus the servers are in each others
local admin groups and sitetisite connect group.... *help*!!!
