installing ms project on windows 2000 terminal server

hello,

i am trying to install project 2000 on windows 2000
terminal server (SP2), but to no avail. i am using the MST
file... and follow all the instruction on articleQ217640,
but i keep getting "Internal Error 2733" when the
installation starts. microsoft has no decent documentation
on this error number, besides some mumbo-jumbo...
after checking the win installer setup log, i see that a
previous error was recorded: Internal Error 2898.
microsoft claims that this error is nothing but debugging
information and that i have nothing to worry about in case
this error is not followed by other errors - they don't
say, however, if i should be worried in case it IS
followed by another error, which happens to terminate the
installation all together.

does anyone have any idea what i should do to solve this
problem???

Hi ilan,

Try disabling or removing your virus protection programs first and then
installing P2000. Then reactivate the virus protection.

(find it on the microsoft.com/office/project site)
