Certmgr cannot enumerate certificate stores

When I try to open certmgr.msc I receive the message :

'The certificate stores could not be enumerated.
The system cannot find the file specified.'

I need to open this snap in to make a backup of my SSL private keys.

Can I fix the problem and open certmgr.msc ? If yes, how ?

If I cannot, is there a workaround to backup private keys ?
