Internal Error

----------------------------------------------------------
----------------------

I am having a serious problem with msn explorer. when I
sign on I receive a pop-up error message within 1 or 2
minutes. It says "we're sorry but msn explorer has
experienced an internal error and will have to restart."
It offers 2 buttons to click, tell and don't tell
microsoft. If I click either button explorer crashes and
tries to sign in again. If I don't click a button I can
continue to surf the web but cannot send or receive mail.
Don't know if it is related or not but I started getting
lots of pop-ups (every time a new page loads), the pop-
ups are all about spyware prevention and although the ads
are different they all have the same web address
(http://s13ds.d8t.biz/search.php?
pin=22&index_id=314&ww=spyware+removal) at the same time
this browser problem started. I am running XP Home, MSN
9. Error details say:AppName MSN.EXE, AppVer 9.0.13.2101,
ModVer Unknown, Offset 2ae6dfe2. I have un-installed MSN
IE and Messenger, reloaded and no change. Help!

Hi tipn,

Here are two good sources of information on the spyware/malware topic. Start
by ridding your PC of these nasties. The pop-ups you are seeing may be a
known type of scam or fraud...first create a problem for an Internet user
and then charge for the remedy.

exists. Anyone looking for help would be well served finding another
newsgroup (on this server).

The Solution Is Clear, You Need A SpyWare Scanner To Do A
Scan.. Now If You Cannot Do It Through MSN Explorer,
Create A Dialup Connection (Contact MSN Tech Support If
You Don't Know How 1 800 386 5550) And Then Use Internet
Explorer And Goto microsoft.com/spyware
