We have installed and setup a brand new 2007 exchange and on most messages sent by the user they are receiving the following messages which appear to be relay and deliver receipts. Message class is either Report.IPM.Note.DR or IPM.Note.Relayed.DR

Message states Delivery to these recipients or distribution lists is complete, but delivery notification was not sent by the destination:

It is from the MicrosoftExchangeXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.mycompanydomain.com to the user

any ideas on how to stop the messages

Has there been any resolution to this? i am having tghe same problem on an
SBS2008 server running Exchange 2007 SP1 Rollup 9.

Additional information. Here is the entire response message:

Subject: Test message for DSN problem

Sent by Microsoft Exchange Server 2007

So if I understand the response message correctly: The message was
delivered. But what does "but delivery notification was not sent by the
destination:" mean and should the destination (Exchange 2007) be sending a
notification.

Thanks for any help sorting this out.
