Any idea what this file is? I have a client who every time he launches
Excel gets a message saying "could not load ATHLIB32.DLL" and then
Excel continues normally.

I have searched several systems--Win95, WinNt 4.0, and Win2000--as
well as MS Office97 and MS Office2000 and cannot find any file with
this or a similar name. I've also done an unsuccessful search for the
file in the MS Knowledgebase.

Anybody have any ideas what might be causing this?

Robin,

I am not familiar with that file. I suspect that is is part of some add-in
module which you installed. Go to the Tools menu, Add-Ins, and uncheck each
box which is checked. Restarting Excel after each uncheck will determine
which add-in needed that DLL file.
